NTC: HEARING (CRIMINAL)
APPROVAL OF RESTITUTION PLANS IN BROWN AND BUNDY
AUGUST 16 2012 AT 4:00
It has come to my attention that Robert Huckins is seeking to lower the payments of restitution ordered by the 12th District Courts.
This is my response.I am a 57 year old woman with chronic Bassel-Hagens disease. My mother is late 80's with Bassel-Hagens disease so bad she cannot walk.Ever since Robert Huckins stole our building fund ~ after he stole our HOME ~ I have experienced over 4 years of homelessness, in inhumane circumstances . This appeal, if granted by the courts, will cause compounded hardships that could lead to my death .While the court appointed criminal defense attorneys, the judges and a convicted felon slept in comfortable homes. I slept outside in the cold even when it was minus 14 degree's.I have aged 10 years in that time period, and my health has deteriorated beyond function ability. I am now, due to the actions of Robert Huckins, disabled. The judge ordered Robert Huckins to pay the stolen money back "with expedience." But with expedience never materialized. In July, 2008, weeks before Robert Huckins was arrested for stealing the money for our home, he walked into the Wells Fargo bank and withdrew $110,000 in cash. And that money disappeared into thin air. Yet he had the sheer audacity to tell the judge that he didn't have any money - and she believed himIn short, I have been told by the 12th District court that I must suffer, to support a career criminal. I am neither a bank nor a loan institution and I cannot support Robert Huckins nor his wife. Not without dying of exposure through lack of housing, stress, anxiety and the adverse effects of being permanently homeless.I have not seen my mother since Robert Huckins stole the money that was to be the home we shared ~ for there is no home for her to come to.Yet the courts seem to think that they have to extend human and civil rights to a convicted felon and totally ignore the plight of his victim. Our rights are not even worthy of consideration. So much for justice!Mr.Tod Holmes, criminal defense attorney, stood in the courts and deliberately deceived the courts. He said that I was NOT homeless. I would like to enter photographs of my living conditions before, during and after Mr.Holmes made those comments to the presiding judge.
Mr.Robert Huckins has a comfortable lifestyle. He can afford what I cannot afford. He pay's Dr.Becky Washburn the veterinary bills for his pets. He can afford to chain smoke, as does his wife. He has heat, a warm bed, food to eat and a home that he owns to sit down and eat his meals in. He has his FREEDOM. He has a mailing address and family around him. Because of Robert Huckins I was deprived of those necessities for years.I cannot afford them because I am supporting Mr. Huckins and his wife. This is a cruel, and a gross miscarriage of justice.I write a daily blog that has over 26,000 readers. Everything I do, everything that happens in my life, I publish on-line. I write with honesty and integrity . I have no reason to embroider or exaggerate because the truth is THAT horrendous.Unlike Dorothy McKeever, who died with no-one in the courts hearing her plea's for help, I refuse to allow the actions of Robert Huckins destroy myself and my family in silence.
As her daughters wrote on the Ruidoso News Topix forum:
I hope you get your due Mr. Hutchins - you are a crook. My faith is only in the judicial system that they will successfully convict you and you spend you time behind bars.
I am also disgusted with Mr. Huckins...He left my mother with a half built house as stated by Judy Torres my sister. I blame him and the bank for distributing the monies to him when a full inspection was not completed properly. When I asked the bank for the names of the inspectors I was told they could not disclose that information. I did have a signature but of course could not identify any of the letters. And it seems rather odd when all the monies were distributed to Bob the loan officer at the bank was transferred. My mother sits there with a half built house while he is still running around the town and not behind bars
If Robert Huckins does not desire to tell the courts where he has hidden hundreds of thousands of dollars of stolen money from dozens of clients the court should not consider penalizing me any more than I have already been victimized. The courts should penalize HIM. He is the convicted felon.I have paid and continue to pay a price no human being should be demanded to pay. It is financial, physical, emotional persecution and a violation of my human and civil rights. If he does not desire to repay the restitution "with expedience" the 12th District Court has a moral obligation to put Robert Huckins in jail, for the 27 years he was give, so that he can repay his debt to society, as he should have been forced to do had justice prevailed.
There has to be someone related to Robert & Sylve Huckins must have some means to reach them, if it be Michael Huckins, Dr.Kenneth Ogilvie ( Diana Huckins? Dominic Huckins? Malcolm Huckins? ) or Patricia Ogilvie-Huckins and get them to return ALL of the money they stole from us so that I can buy a home and get our lives back. I am begging anyone in this family for help.
I don't believe I have EVER witnessed any none violent crime that can be as devastating as stealing someone's home. I am walking in Dorothy McKeevers footsteps, day by day, month by month, year by year.
Liam Griffin, I sat in your law office with two witnesses as you gave me your promise, your guarantee, that our money would be returned before harm came to us.
Patricia Ogilvie-Huckins you were present the day I signed contract with your son. You walked out of the kitchen with Sylve Huckins and your son introduced me to you. He told you that I was the British horse trainer he had told you about, the one he was going to build the home and barn for. Why didn't you say something? There may be a rational and reasonable explanation but I have spent over 3 years, homeless, not understanding it. I understand it even less knowing that though I was a total stranger, both Dorothy McKeever and Sally Canning you KNEW, and you knew what your son had done to them and others.
Dr. Kenneth Ogilvie, I contacted you and simply asked for a reference, not knowing that Robert Huckins was your cousin. Robert Huckins had just stolen over $30,000 from the domestic violence shelter, HEAL, yet everyone was trying to hide it. There was a history of stealing large amounts of money. $65,000 PLUS from Nancy Canning. $89,000 PLUS from Dorothy McKeever, $45,000 from Francis McKinney. The list just goes on and on and on.
Because of Robert Huckins I ended up paying $140,000 to be homeless.. sat in the cold, emotionally, physically and financially broke. In the middle of a recession, with no way to recover the stolen funds.Today Robert Huckins has his own home...
He also has OUR home.....
He also has a lot of people's money...
And his freedom.
Women are not banks or loan institutions. Women should not be the source of a retirement fund for people who don't want to do an honest day's work for an honest day's pay. Holding women hostage while playing with the judicial system, a horrendous game of cat and mouse extending YEARS, with the victims whose very homes, families and stability are in jeopardy is cruelty, as cruel as a physical beating. It is financial and emotional RAPE. Homelessness is not justice. It is a slow, painful death.
Please, I beg with everything I have within me, please convince Robert Huckins to stop this torture and return the building fund he stole from us so we too, can have a home.
